Bareboat Out Registration
A Maltese flagged vessel may be bareboat charter registered in a foreign Registry provided the foreign registry is considered by Malta as a compatible Registry and the registered owners consent to such bareboat charter out. The Certificate of Malta Registry must be surrendered within fifteen days from the registration of the ship in the bareboat charter registry.
